How Can You Help the Wee Ferrets?

Does volunteering come to mind, but then you remember all the things you need to take care of and you think, “I just don’t have the time”. Even if you don’t have a lot of time, there are other ways you can help out. There are many things the Oregon Ferret Shelter needs on a regular basis. You can pick these up at your local grocery store, pet store, or make your own. We’ll take all the help you can give.

• Cleaning products: laundry soap, bleach, paper towels, scrub pads
• Treats: Ferretbites, Nutra Stat, Ferretvite, Linatone
• Bedding: sleep sacks, hammocks, litter boxes, litter scoops, sleeping cubes
• Stamps for mailing out information to prospective adopters
• Monetary donations to the shelter’s vet to cover surgeries

If you would rather make your donation online, the shelter has made a Wish List on Amazon.com. Here, people can pick their favorite brand-name items and sellers, all from the comfort of their computer desk.

You can access the Oregon Ferret Shelter’s Amazon Wish List below. Most of the items are ferret foods. The shelter is always in dire need of large quantities of high-quality ferret food. However there are a few treats and toys on there just in case someone wanted to help the shelter improve their residents’ quality of life as well as feed them.
