Petra

Petra started her young life as a pet store baby. At the tender age of six months, she was labeled as an incurable biter and scheduled to be euthanized. However, we stepped in and offered to give her a second chance.

After a long history of being thumped on the nose through the cage bars, Petra is understandably afraid -- terrified -- of human contact. After many doses of Ferretone and Ferretvite, Petra will allow some contact, but she still needs lots of rehabilitation. It's going to be a while before this little girl will be over her fear. But we're going to be there for her -- this is a no-kill shelter, and we think Petra has the potential to be a great pet, given enough time and care.

Would you please help Petra's rehabilitation by sponsoring her?
