We typically have more than 100 ferrets available for adoption at the shelter. Right now, we have almost 200. The selection is huge, all kinds of colors and temperaments.

All adoptions are by appointment only. Please call (503) 557-8369 to schedule one. Our regular shelter hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., but we will work with your schedule too. The shelter is located at the home of Chris and Dave Mathis in Oregon City.

Before we let you take one of our guys home, we have to make sure that you are ready for them. Our adoption form covers many basic questions, such as whether you have owned ferrets before, if you have other pets, if you have permission from your landlord (if you need it), or even if you have a cage ready for them at home. It's important to us that you know what you are getting into and that your transition into ferret ownership is a smooth one.
